Pyroplast-HW primer is a waterborne primer intended to improve the adhesion of Pyroplast-HW clear to dufficult timber surfaces. Pyroplast-HW clear may be applied directly onto most timber surfaces however on some difficult surfaces such as resinous timbers Pyroplast-HW primer may be used to improve the adhesion of Pyroplast-HW clear.

The complete fire protection system comprises:

Primer: pyroplast-HW primer
Intumescent: pyroplast-HW clear
Top sealer: pyroplast-HW top
